I came to the forum too late to know him, sadly, but wanted the thread to carry on in his name as he was the one who started it off.

Another favourite of mine is Morning Has Broken.

We played this at my mums funeral, as she loved it, but whenever I listen to it since then, it doesn't make me sad .... quite the opposite.

It is such a joyous and uplifting song, and his version is, in my opinion, perfection.

Re-aquainted myself with an old favourite today .... got the LP, but no record player to play it on any more !! (How many of us have this problem !!) :D So I bought the CD yesterday.
