HATED TRUTH ?
 

Some on here have stated that Jesus brought ' The Truth ' that the ' World ' hates. What is this Universal hated truth ?

Everybody is entitled to their own ideas so you are going to get people who dont believe,
I am not a christian and i dont own let alone read a book written by man that is called a Bible

I know I saw that, too? I thought, What a statement.

Is it Truth that is hated?
Or could it be change, I dunno.
Could the 'world' be comfortable with their beliefs and valuing of money?
Comfortable with what they see, rather than the unseen and any unseen promises?
Pharisees didn't like their status shaken, for sure. They already had 'their truth', it was in the written Law.

Modern people ...is it the Truth people 'hate' or do they not want anyone telling them what Truth is and questioning the source of the idea?
Maybe they just don't like being preached to ?
And they dislike anything out of their comfort zone?

And to be clear -it's the worldly egoic mind that doesn't like the truth /Truth because it means the end of it.
Proof of that is sitting in stillness and seeing the fight the ego puts up.
The truth being what all or most teachers have brought --that there is more than this physical world that is seen;
the ego doesn't wanna deal with that.

I'm waiting to see if the Two Posters will explain what the ' World Hated Truth ' is because I personally can't work that one out, maybe I'm thick :biggrin:

The main subject Jesus spoke about while on Earth is also the main subject of the Bible and that is the Kingdom.

That 'truth' regarding the Kingdom, for the most part, is something unknown to most people. The 'World', that is the people, do not like knowing about the Kingdom expressed in the Bible especially by Jesus. If they did know about the Kingdom, it would not be such a controversial topic.

If it's something unknown to most people how can the ' World Hate ' what they don't know :icon_eek:

It's all about the Ego, the "little I" as I call it.

Nope :biggrin: Jesus had an ' Ego ' but He used it in the correct way...:smile: The ' Whole World ' doesn't hate the Ego, either....
