It seems, when it is translated by the Western mind (map) it is assumed to be the “Astral Double” or some people “possessing Siddhis” or maybe some indig. superstition sees it as a “shapeshifter” – I don’t know. But it is just yourself in an energetic form, and it tells more about ‘you’ than the physical form does or one’s mind-maps. Quote:
In regards to Fire. All the departed are just as dumb as they were in life, so I do not understand why “spiritualists” (Spiritual Church) makes such a fuss about them. But. I did have a muso friend in London, with whom we had, what I call a ‘nondual connection’. And he had referred to that nondual connection as seeing “Light”. When he passed away & came for a visit, he gave me a ‘practice’ I should do: “Keep Pure within the Circle of Fire” “Keeping pure within the circle of fire makes your spirit glow and it is a beautiful sight for us.” * |

Yeah, and this is what I find so disturbing about the “white-man’s-culture”. Consider me mentally disturbed, because I am. When I say that I don’t have to beee indigenous, I mean, it is ‘written’ in my ‘energy field’ already, nothing “I” can do about it – it is an ‘imprint’, an ‘energy-signature’ … At first I did not understand what the Aboriginal Elders were telling me when they said: “You have still got your dreaming”, or that: “You know who you are” I do? :icon_cyclops: ??? And to the “white” audience they would say: “You don’t know who you are”. (But I guess they meant: “You are looking for “talent” outside yourself”). * |

I just made up the phrase 'Spirit double'. I though it sounded good at the time. All this stuff is interwoven and connected and hard for me separate out to assign words to them. |

Never seen a person to actually “shapeshift”, but at times I have seen an indigenous person’s Totem superimposed upon their ‘energy field’ & one Elder told me that: “Yep, that is form their spirit takes when it leaves the body”. (Had written about it here – somewhere ….) Or past lives: https://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/s...3&postcount=20 …. Which doesn’t mean one cannot change … * |

In reference to the bottom of post #631
"Chakra's".I have never been given anything of the Chakra's. I was shown vortexes. One extending up from the Heart region and spinning like a tornado. Another extending down like an inverted tornado. The Circle of Fire sounds Good to me.I Love the Pureness of Fire. I imagine this is a meditative practice, but being inside a Circle of physical fire would purify too.:D |

But mention “Energy Fields” and there is an instant knowing how … yet it might not be ‘right’ for others ---> ... v * After the Reiki ’initiation’, I started doing this and I did find it empowering (because ‘stuff’ started happening a lot more frequently): http://www.gnostic.org/meditations/m...tation3how.htm But there definitely are 3 Centres within – Adyashanti talks about when he talks about 3 aspects or levels of awakening: Head, Heart & Gut … 0:00 to 15:40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxraQ7sELfU Except he got the “Shamanic” bit wrong, because he really is still :icon_eek: seeing “shamanic” with the Western mind-map imagination or with a filter of the Western ‘psychological self’ (ego). But what I have described as ‘nondual on the horizontal level’ (& the first step on the ‘spiritual/vertical), is what Adyashanti calls ‘Awakening on the level of the Heart’. That is when one can have “Silent Communication or Communion” or “One Spirit” experience. (Common among traditional indig. people). And I wouldn’t trust any Elder or “Guru” who has not had this ‘awakening’. * |
I suppose it was a bit cold or unsensitive for me having said:
“All the departed are just as dumb as they were in life, so I do not understand why “spiritualists” (Spiritual Church) makes such a fuss about them”. But then again it is true, some souls do awake to Greater Reality at death, but in general souls can be just as dualistic and egotistical as in life. If one is aware of “spirit-doubles” – it is not that easy to tell whether a ‘visitation’ is from a person who is alive or departed. I am not sure, but I assume this to be the reason behind the shamanic classification dividing Reality into Upper, Middle and Below Worlds. There is a subtle vibrational difference. And again – if one is aware of “spirit-doubles” – communication with the departed in shamanic cultures is seen as normal, nothing ‘special’ as it is seen through the Western lens, so why all the fuss? Went on this website: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ldVUKY0Onc She sounds genuine to me and is providing service of solace for people who are attached to their loved ones and want to keep this attachment going … And yes, it is very captivating and fantastic, but it is no awareness shift from the small “I am” to “I AM” where all attachments need to be dissolved. All Tantric Deities are depicted within a Circle of Fire: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...om_Thangka.jpg No doubt it means the “Inner Fire” – but which then becomes reflected and is seen as Clear Light / Luminousity of one’s Energy Field. (All of the above is just my view based on my experience …) * |
