Dearest to my late Mom,
You touched my heart deeply.
Like a baby bird with a broken wing,
You healed me with your motherly love.

You made me smile & laugh again,
I began to trust like best friends.
You shared your heart & your home,
With me as sheltered and fed.

When you died suddenly,
I was shocked with disbelief.
I looked beyond the grave,
With a new journey in my heart.

My heart and love for you as daughter,
Indeed pierced through the veil.
The truth shall be shown to me,
That there is no end!
