Yoga creates balance in the body, including the brain. There are 2 sides to the brain, the left, and the right. It is important to keep these in balance, but the world is such that dominance is given to the right side, the masculine, logical side in today's world. Intuition and creativity are not valued as they should be. Regular yoga practice in your life can organize the brain so it is like a well-cataloged library where information is stored and accessed in an easy manner. It can do amazing things for your memory and concentration, but subtle technologies can take time to work.
