Time travel is impossible

I believe that I have time traveled

at first there was no explanation for it ~ but just recently I saw the words time travel and it all became so clear

nothing is impossible when you believe in magic

Gravity alters time, this has been proven on tall sky scrapers, where the clocks on the top floors and bottom floors even when synced up slowly separate. CERN has reported to produce black holes, so if they can harness them somehow then they could theoretically make a time machine. They're smart people, I would bet that they already have one or are working on one.

People would freak out if they announced they were testing time travel and had to admit it involved black holes. They would have to keep it under-wraps until it was working perfectly.

How does the psychological self transit - physically - from the present to either the past or the future?

When referring to the fourth dimension I am speaking of the Minkowskian notion of time as being the fourth dimension. As in the fact that we can move forward and backward, [One dimension], sideways, [Two dimensions], up and down, [Three dimensions], and through time; [Four dimensions], and not that which is called 4- dimension Euclidean space.

IMO, We all have the ability to enter into our innermost being and mentally merge with the mind of our ancestor and to mentally re-live the life and times of he/she, who we once were.

Carl Sagan in his old TV program, which I believe was called “The Cosmos”, speculated that a two dimensional being having length and breadth would experience his world as a one-dimensional world.

Having only length and breadth and no height, it would not be able to look down on any two-dimensional object in its world and would only see a line which would appear to be the length of the object, irrelevant as to which direction it was seeing that object from. Unless the two dimensional being was lifted up by some unseen force, it would never know that the objects in its world had breadth as well as length.

We are fourth dimensional beings, who are able to mentally traverse time. We are fourth dimensional beings, who, in a state of deep meditation or hypnosis, are able to descend into our inner most being where space and time are as one, and relive memories back to and beyond our own birth, and there, we are able to merge with a living mind of our past [Who we once were] and experience the life and times of our living ancestor.

And while merged with a mind of our living ancestor, [Who we once were] our comatose body in the present will sometimes speak in the tongue of that ancient ancestor, which language is totally foreign to the comatose person in question, while the ancient ancestor in his own time, babbles incomprehensively, sometimes speaking in a strange tongue, in the as yet unknown language of his future descendant, in his attempt to give form and terminology to the visions that he is receiving from the mind of his as yet unborn descendant of the future, which terminology to express such visions have not even developed in his point in time.

That person is seen as a prophet, when speaking of a giant grasshopper that spits fire from its tail, with wings above its head that sound like the roaring of a mighty waterfall, in his attempt to describe a Black Hawk helicopter as seen in a vision while merged with the future mind.

We all remain alive, to one who can descend into his past. Having that ability to mentally descend into his past, many are they who have received a mental visitation from ‘The Son of Man’, we call them prophets. Some are said to have spoken in strange tongues, when visited by one from the multi-celled Spiritual body of the ‘Son of Man’ who is said to evolve on the spirits of the righteous humans, which are gathered to him, (The Chosen Cornerstone) in the creation of the new temple=body of Light.

Time is NOT a dimension of space according to this argument:

Consider a cube with length l, width w and depth d in a three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system with axes x, y and z, where length l, width w and depth d of the cube are each parallel to axes x, y and z, respectively. You can rotate the cube 90 degrees along any one of three axes so that l, w and d are then parallel to different axes of the Cartesian coordinate system. This is obvious. If time t were a dimension of space then we should be able to do the same thing with l, w, d and t. Obviously time cannot be rotated or moved into a length coordinate and length cannot be rotated or moved into a time coordinate, therefore space has only three dimensions.

What about those that have experienced time slips though i.e. into the past? Do you know about these e.g. many have taken place at Bold Street in Liverpool.

One theory is that it could be due to the underground there in concentric circles providing a portal.

Einstein has said 'People like us who believe in physics know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.'

Along with Time Travel is the concept of Time..... stopping for a while.

You can create anything you can conceive of mentally, so that would include time travel. Give it a try and keep at it.

There are people who were in the special space program who say time travel is possible. It could very well be. The universe is so big, so infinite, so divine. I think what is possible in fact is way way beyond anything we can imagine.

Time Travel and Einsteinian Relativity

Time travel is seen in a lot of science fiction and sometimes some physicists try to hype this thing based on their Einstein influenced logic. One problem I thought of that appears to be overlooked is that it is assumed that if you or any matter went through a time machine that it would end up in the SAME place on Earth at a different time. Suppose someone went through a time machine on Earth. We know that the Earth revolves around the sun in an almost circular orbit, so wouldn't this mean that only at a particular time of the year that someone would appear at the same place on Earth at a different time? At all other times, that time traveler would end up in outer space since the Earth would be in a different location in its orbit and would die without a space suit. Also, they would need some way to travel to, do their re-entry and land on Earth. Also, our solar system travels around the milky way galaxy and our galaxy also travels through space, too, so this should have some effect on where time travelers appear unless there is someway to control where they appear in the different time. This theory of time seems to imply a kind of absolute frame of reference, too, which cosmologists might think is based on the big bang theory and everything being created at the instant in time of the big bang. Apparently, the only support for this is anthropic principles.

Whatever we can imagine is possible. An acquaintance has the gift of seeing past lives in others (e.g. me as a Spanish inquisitor working for the catholic church, not a happy life). So the past is available to her, somehow.

I suspect time travel may be possible under the right conditions and could explain cases where people have vanished without trace.

I had one experience where I was able to view another time. It happened in an area where audible sounds from the past have been heard. I think this phenomenon is based on the stone tape theory not time travel time. However, it could be that this phenomenon results when conditions start to approach the level where time travel is possible.

I feel that time travel is possible in the mind/consciousness/astral but not in the physical.

Heard all the theories such as molecular transportation and such but I’m yet to be convinced.

Not possible ? No so, its quite possible , a part of you can go to the future and see what is there . been doing that for decades and it works.

I believe time travel is within, through rem, lucid, like Edgar cacey hypnotic states, we are the machine, we just need how to use it. It is not math, or reason, it’s geometric, pay attention to your inner pattern through meditation, it is the key to the way out! A bridge between worlds.

The Montauk Project is an interesting read, which is supposed to be a true story, although it's been said to be a conspiracy theory.

This is a fantastic topic though everyone shared here a wide range of perspectives

Time travel is not like what you see in science fiction movies. When you try to go back to your past, you're actually shifting to a parallel reality that looks similar to what you remember, but it's not the same timeline; it simply cannot be.

Imagine you're 30 years old and you want to go back to when you were 10. If you do that, you'd find yourself standing there as a 30-year-old, watching another version of yourself at age 10. There would be two distinct realities: one where your 10-year-old self exists, and another where you, as a 30-year-old, are observing your 10-year-old self.
