Time travel is not like what you see in science fiction movies. When you try to go back to your past, you're actually shifting to a parallel reality that looks similar to what you remember, but it's not the same timeline; it simply cannot be.
Imagine you're 30 years old and you want to go back to when you were 10. If you do that, you'd find yourself standing there as a 30-year-old, watching another version of yourself at age 10. There would be two distinct realities: one where your 10-year-old self exists, and another where you, as a 30-year-old, are observing your 10-year-old self.
