My Umpteenth Attempt to Post...
 

Hello. I drafted a lengthy introduction earlier only for it to be deleted... Not sure if the website automatically logged me out or what? I will sum it up with this: Nihilistic, depressed atheist transformed by a psychedelic experience into a practicing Buddhist, aspiring herbalist and fledgling meditator. Since I had been totally detached from the spiritual realm for the majority of my life, I don’t have any friends in real life who could relate to this, hence my coming here. I’m eager to hear about journeys aside from my own and wax philosophical. Thank you for having me. 🙏

Oh thank goodness it finally worked! I seriously urge the admins to address this glitch... I tried to post so many times! It’s a good thing I learned how to meditate ��‍♀️

I'm not an Admin ...but good, it worked.

Ans YES, it IS good you learned how to meditate ....lucky for all of us, I did, too!
I was a pill in my younger years. (Hard to take.)

i've heard things can be kind of touchy with the logouts sometimes. Might depend on which browser you are using.... something I've seen recommended by other members is to check the box that says 'remain logged in' or something like that when you log in. Then the phantom logouts can't catch you... I've never had a problem always staying logged in like that...

A practical suggestion.

Until you're sure you won't lose material when trying to post here on SF, write your piece in a wordprocessor document and make sure you save it. Then copy and paste it into an open forum page and then try posting it.

If it goes down the pan you still have the original and can try doing it again. Maybe try a different browser to see if that's better - good luck.

Hey, welcome!

Not sure how you can blame the forum, it's fairly static using old software. Any competent PC or Mac web browser can handle this site.

So it could be your OS settings, or your Browser settings, some ****** Google manager telling you what to do, what to believe. Probably not your ISP, they don't usually care.

Maybe you're using a phone that's overrun with corporate crapware.

Firefox is cool :)
