I memorized Bach's 1st Prelude in C, recently - I had 2 lessons in 6th grade.

A friend that has been playing it for 50 years said...You memorized it?!
(I thought, well ...what have you been doing.. looking at the page? - I said nothing, of course.) :tongue:

When I told her I changed the ending a lot, 'I didn't like it' ---she was all - You changed BACH!!!
Well.....yeah. Mine's WAY better! :biggrin: Lol!
