here we are with nothing to do
save growing in love, breath by breath how much more easy, can life get with throb of bliss, heart’s healing meth |
each night in deep sleep, we return to God ~
waking up in form, energised and awed |
the this here now is all there is
and time is but an illusion let’s rekindle then, soul’s bliss fizz exiting dreamy delusion |
offering God thanks ~
let’s fill in the blanks |
hemmed in within a realm conjured by mind ~
I floundered about therein, like the blind |
dancing with aplomb and elan ~
spontaneity has no plan |
if we be asleep in the waking state ~
in deep sleep how can we reach heaven’s gate |
death will soon reclaim ~
our mindless mind game |
surely wisdom of our soul has grown dim ~
we first create a god, then worship him when we are reborn in another realm ~ new illusions we cling to overwhelm |
attached to form that’s doomed to die
with each breath soul lets out a sigh till the day we choose to be still then oh hermit, we wingless fly |
