Experts and expertism
Pilgrim came upon a reflection which asked:--
Do you have a desire to follow reason, or do you have reason to desire a following ? Pilgrim was troubled and asked:-- How shall I know ? The reflection responded:-- First understand your self. |
neither of those things sound good to me.

Hello Hitesh.
Greetings once more and thanks for your contact and questions--which I attempt to answer with what I realise is limited understanding. The "reflection" is Pilgrim choosing to understand and then possibly choose to question Pilgrims own motivations and subsequent behaviour in the light of how that behaviour may best harmonise with Pilgrims corresponding and burgeoning awareness of being of the whole. It is not an intellectual exercise as such, nor engaged with virtuous intent as such, nor reliant upon a moral framework, but--as mentioned--simply a personal and practical decision to behave in accord with Pilgrims perception of being of the whole. Cheers. |
