Ye elves of hills..
Regarding "elementals", in Shakespeare's 'The Tempest', the sorcerer Prospero says to the invisible spirits of the air-
"Ye elves of hills, brooks, standing lakes and groves, And ye that on the sands with printless foot Do chase the ebbing Neptune and do fly him When he comes back; you demi-puppets that By moonshine do the green sour ringlets make, Whereof the ewe not bites, and you whose pastime Is to make midnight mushrooms" PS- I wonder if "demi-puppets" means alien robots operating out of a landed UFO that left a crop circle, "sour" with residual radiation? |
that was cool, thanks for sharing! :hug3:
I think when he said ringlets, he was talking about fairy circles ... you can google what those look like if you don't know. |
This thread is pretty empty, what else do you want to know about this? I'm not tremendously knowledgable but we can talk a little more maybe?

I n the mountains and woods where i live there are streams running through them, sit for long enough in the peace and quiet you will see slivers of lights dancing around you

Very cool, I like it.

Very cool, I like it. Also, what do you think of the original elves?(the non-Tolkien and non-Santa kind). |
