Do you believe in a Universal "I"?
 

God is one - apparently. Do you believe that there is only one "I" too?

I tried to dispel the "I" from my life but it fought back and nearly crushed me. I started seeing the Universal "I" everywhere. Within everybody. I foolishly thought the Universal "I" was God's enemy and treated it with hostility.

The Universal "I" is very resilient and persistent. I am aware of it every day. Not within....but all around me.

Do you believe in its existence? Or are you aware of its existence?

Getting out in nature can help a lot. Go hug a tree with bare feet. I'm serious! :smile: Although, I've not tried it with bare feet yet.

I'd like to think you would be close friends with Treebeard.

Help in what way? I'm not arguing with the Universal "I" so much these days.

I didn't know who Treebeard was. I've just watched a clip. Oh yes, I could be friends with him. He's all bark and no bite just like someone else I know :wink:

Yes you do seem to be mellowing to the "I" Honza. I hope you're feeling more at peace because of it. Going with the flow instead of fighting against it helps for sure.

Oh yes, bare feet collects Chi from Mother Earth, amazing. I practice Qigong and Tai Chi barefoot when possible....

Sounds great. Even just watching someone doing Tai Chi relaxes me. I've not had a go though.

Look for a Class, you will enjoy it I think. I've been doing both for 28 years, and Teaching mainly Qigong for about 9. It is very relaxing... Accompanied by Chinese Music it's lovely..

There seems to be ether Duality or non-duality does seem to be the only two metaphysical options when fabricating a persons epistemology however there is a third option that I have not yet seen anybody talk about it is different than the "no we are not all one there's an old man up in heaven watching us" or the "yes we are all one" yet like I said no one seems to be talking about it
