Lotus Root and Lotus Tea
Hi Everyone
I was wondering if anyone has tried Lotus Root or/and Lotus Tea? How has it helped you? I know I've had Lotus root growing up, but I've never had lung problems before. For asian cultures, Lotus Root, seeds, and tea have benefits for the blood, lungs, inflammation, digestive, and heat. "Lotus root tea Looking at the root of the lotus and its resemblance to the lungs you can see why our forefathers and mothers realised its healing properties. It has long been valued in the East for its benefit in treating respiratory problems. Lotus root has traditionally been prescribed for lung-related ailments, such as tuberculosis, asthma, and coughing. It is said to dissolve and eliminate excess mucous, easing congestion in the lungs over time. Have as a tea with some honey and ginger." https://www.mindfood.com/article/bre...ems-naturally/ |
One place I lived at for some time, had Lotus growing up on the rooftop. I have used Lotus root.

Wow, interesting, there would have to be a water source for it to be on the rooftop though.
Lotus root is great to use for health problems at least in Chinese medicine. |
