Your Echo
 

I found some words you had written to me in a book. I could still feel where your hand had pressed the pen tip and ink into the pages of the book. I sometimes think about the little bits of potential energy of yours stored up in things like the book, and the door hinges that you tightened for me on my bedroom door. I feel like that energy is an echo of you, contained, and if I release it........would it fly back to you to rejoin itself to your essence again?
