A thought popped in my head about a topic that may give rise to some interest of some.


Casting a spell vs. An affirmation.


Considering the situation at hand could use either, but the implications of one over the other and getting similar results. Which would you choose if versed in both ?

If you're saying "one is neither better than the other if they get the same result" then, you've got it - toss a coin.

It'll be difficult to assess the work either would take though. If someone's willing to be persistent with affirmation over a period of time, fine. It could mean more work but....depends on what you have to do to prepare a rite.

If you cast a spell incorrectly or not create a protective circle etc. It can have a damaging effect right? What you put out comes back at least 3x, be careful what you wish for sort of thing.


Whereas an affirmation is something that is repeated over and over again that sinks into the subconscious to act upon.


What mean is the risk vs. the reward.

Any affirmation can be achieved in many ways, which have different side-effects.

You may want to double your money in the bank, for example. That might happen through inflation, or through the death of a loved one (insurance, inheritance), and may also have the result of losing your friends to envy.

It is advisable to be specific in your requests to higher powers, to set a beneficial framework of safety with a clearly defined coverage.

My apologies. I'll make myself clearer. It came across a post in regards to casting a spell to vanquish a specific fear the questioner was asking. Being a new witch.

One of my responses was to be sure to cleanse her area and to create a protective circle.
This got me to thinking. Would casting a spell to be worth the trouble for this. And is it worth the risk if not done correctly open up pandora's box?
As with an affirmation. It is a self-administered on the sub-subconscious to generate the out of overcoming that fear with far less risk if not zero risks.


I mean, I've just answered my own question. Now I am asking for other's thoughts.
