A New World or NOT!

Question! if you could chose between this world as we know it. or a world far better than what you know, where everyone would have Love. No hatred or negative feelings, peaceful, no one fearing anything or anybody. no one going hungry, or going homeless, which would you choose? peace

Jojo50,

One of the most difficult tasks in life is to have the responsibility of inheriting great wealth. The good life that you envisage can only come one way…..it could only be totally be as given by the grace of God. What then would be the purpose of life ? There would be no uniqueness as an individual. God created us as wonderfully made….each of made as being unique and, in our uniqueness, the potential to express more of the fullness of God. God is dynamic not static and is and will always be a constant and continuing revelation.

Of course we would choose Peace but odd as it may sounds, it seems most people prefer the opposite.

This becomes more apparent when realizing that Jesus is the the great Peacemaker.

This organic, evolved animal/mammal world ?

The problem is the earth and humanity has been hacked by the chief rebel, who is a liar.
Which is why he is called the ruler of this world.

This predator/prey situation, in which we find ourselves.

But? Did the Lord know beforehand?
The big question.
However, we are assured that Christ paid the price for, "the sin of the world."

This organic situation...

But, in Whom, we are more than conquerors.
Through faith in Him.

Good points.

As you poignantly mentioned about this God of this World "Which is why he is called the ruler of this world" which some seem to confuse with that of the Creator.

Molearner wrote "What then would be the purpose of life ? There would be no uniqueness as an individual. One could easily say what you are writing is that Paradise was really not a nice place but what the Great Opposer presented was a lot better.

Just ask yourself…..when is the last you saw a person without a head ? Anything that we deem as good, be it love, peace, etc., has to be relative to something….notably the experience of not having it. If everyone has the same thing it is meaningless….there is no basis for comparison. To actually live, hope is the necessary thing….both hope for this life and the life to come.

would say going to Heaven is meaningless?

Of course not……relativity is implied in the question(going to implies one is going from somewhere)…..so the existence of relativity gives meaning……
