what is the meaning of yin negative energy?

What is the meaning of yin negative energy? In what term negative?, because that doesn't make sense if yin is feminine energy, how come females give birth? when they give such a great light to all our life and joy and family and support, how come their energy viewed as negative and dark? And passive?, could anyone please share their insights with me? I mean no harm, so if I hurt, Please forgive me. I just want to learn, please.

Yin isn't negative to me!!! Can cause health issues, sure.
A balance is ideal.
Hotter spices are yang ...curry family, black pepper, chilis, ginger and so on.
Very easy to include in the diet.

Just sayin.

Yin/Yang is a concept of dualism, which describes how what seems like opposite or contrary forces are complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world. The Yin/Yang Symbol contains the seed of the each other ( The little dot ) and one can't exist without the other. The description of one being negative and the other positive are the laws of Nature...

When people see things as beautiful, ugliness is created.
When people see things as good, evil is created.

ahh, I see so it only represents the opposite therefore those are only examples of the concept,
like water and fire moon and sun, they may look like they opposing each other but they work together so harmony can be made, like a scale of balance in Libra sign, thank you sky for the insight that been illuminating.
