What has helped you heal from emotional trauma?

One dropper of Motherwort tincture. Needed for 3 days maybe.
or
Expensive therapy doing EMT or EMDR work.

All with the intention to get better, you have to want to get better.
Why do I say that? Like my sister she wants to stay in grief and mourning.
The EMDR took care of the immediate, crippling trauma, tho.

....my strength.
No medication or doctors .
And later on , my children . They were and still are the reason I can , will, and do get through anything.

A lot of personal growth, inner child healing etc.
I started with a psychologist to clear it but didn't like that as they have such a mental approach which doesn't suit me.
So I began an intuitive development course. Three intensive quarters, 4x a month on Saturdays, the full day not just part of the day.
That shifted a helluva lot! I learned to ground, shield, clear, and got all the tools you need to take care of your own energy systems.
It helped me to clear unbelievably much from the first 3 chakras, where the core all issues reside.

Then there were a ton of other workshops & shorter courses, my own curiosity, inventiveness, creativity and strength.
Another thing was learning from bad love relationships. You can get stuck in grief or open your eyes and learn. Since love relationships matter much to us they can also teach you a lot, especially the bad and/or failing ones.

It takes time, but you notice progress real fast, provided you are dedicated to it and open and willing to work through issues and not shy away from them.

I also know when to get help in, when it's something I cannot clear or do on my own. That can be a reader, healer, or social worker.
A proactive attitude to it all as opposed to a victimhood one.
And at a time I've also temporarily used a Bach flower remedy and believe it or not, that shifted a helluva lot! I think these remedies are hugely underrated.
And even in homeopathy you can get things that support clearing of issues.
A curious mind in combination with intuition will guide you to the right things and people. You just 'happen' to come across them, even while you weren't looking for it or had never heard of it.

I give myself therapy. Also get it from a therapist at times but I copy the process and apply it all the way through everything

Thanks, FairyCrystal. This helps me develop a little patience with myself - it's a process.

This has been helping me too. I have a long history of self-loathing.
