the white culture has a lot of mental illness. everything has pros and cons. but certainly the negative of the white culture is the mind is all over the place. for me once i began to understand that i began to build a life that works for me rather than against. i don't watch t.v. unless its educational and even then much i stay away from. once in a while maybe some thing not educational but not often. i dont watch movies except once in a while. i take great pride in not being concerned about being like others and how they would like me to be. one of the reasons i got into trucking is to stay away from the minds of the people. its a circus. also one of the reasons i spend time with nature. |

everything has pros and cons. the trick is as i see it is embrace what works and make it work for you. im not telling you or anyone to do that. im simply explaining what i try to do. |
It's alright to win and have a victory dance for the win.

the second video the sounds im hearing is similar to sounds i use to open up my throat and drive a strong vibration into my body. i would use hypnotic music like alice in chains as a background to drive into a strong vibration. in the throat is like vehicle and using sounds and sensing where it takes you was perhaps the most exciting thing i have ever done. i use to do that every day as part of my practice. im not suggesting the sounds i used were the sounds in the video. im saying listening to that sounds like to me how you tune into through the throat chakra. i dont do it anymore because im now a truck driver. driving 80,000 lbs i feel i have to remain very grounded for safety. i did do it for a moment a little while back going down the road and i had to stop because it was lifting me into the strong vibrations and that trance feeling was coming in so i stopped it. turned the music off and worked on bringing myself back. haven't thought about doing it off the road. maybe i should. perhaps before i run. |
Thanks, ImthatIm. Enjoyed both of the videos.
* running, Alice in Chains uh? Had never heard of them, but listening to them now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWK0kqjPSVI … reminds me of Godsmack sound you once posted, which I still love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2A4Km5PTu5o * For a few years there, I listened to a lot of Amerind music for its theta-brainwave, trance inducing properties and used/utilized those for “Shamanic Journeying”. Plus, at the time I was in contact, in communication with a (‘spirit introduced karmic connection’) Amerind person. And because “I” did not initiate that connection, it turned out to be a wholesome learning/sharing experience I could also have a deeper letting go (trance) trust in. * If my spiritual journey was leading me to Kundalini activation, and ‘spirit signs’ would indicate a person coming into my life to help me with that and there would be a mutual nondual recognition – then trustingly I would go with that – otherwise I do not volunteer even if nondual (Touch Wood). * |

i don't know why music and trance isn't more popular. i don't know of any quicker way of spiritual progress but im only speaking to my experience. i always enjoyed music that is hypnotic because it hits the soul for me. you found the live version of alice in chains acoustical which is the best representation of their music imo. david spero offers weekly transmissions and talks via the internet for those experiencing or wishing to experience kundalini. gurus or whatever they call themselves are flawed people like us. some people become gurus to feel like a king over others. its not always from the teacher but from the students. i stopped participating in the weekly internet because it was getting to be to weird for me. im not suggesting he was trying to be like a king. more like his students were weirded out to me pressuring me to kiss his but. which i can't do. i got what i needed and left. im just sharing how i played it. in case kundalini becomes in your experience and you find some help from someone. i mention him because he seemed the best i know of. overall my experience was good with him. |

Maybe he is the greatest. Maybe because I am not ready. Maybe this – maybe that, I don’t even want to know the answer to 'why'. And yes, ‘gurus’ are flawed too, everybody is, so I don’t put them on pedestal – they are not my “Deity”. * |

your not alone on your natural aversion towards him. also i was polite when i brought him up and spoke to the benefit. put a disclaimer in there as what to watch out for. "im not a people worshiper." that was my inner mantra as everyone tried to get me to bow to their person. thought i was going to lose my mind. the good part was is the anger it was causing me opened me up to reading the script of things. in those times of people trying to push me around. which is funny to this day thinking about it. lol. i guess its a different kinda fighting. lol. i don't know. just know it happened. |
