I have known people that work with Spider medicine.
I mainly know of Iktomi the trickster but Grandmother Spider
that has to do with Creation and the web of life I know only a little.
I regard Spider medicine as Big on the helper list.


I remember a Spider song in a yuwipi once it was a special special
experience, that allowed me to know connectedness and unconditional Love
like never before. These things are difficult to maintain in two worlds.
At least difficult for this two legged.

I am still 3% Chukchi/Koryak from around 4000 years ago, when they came to the land of proto-Saami and we well and truly mixed.
Must have been all that drumming and dancing and Fly Agaric, Chukchi are big on – leaving their legacy …

The very first time I saw Uncle Bob, was when he was peering into my eyes across the supermarket mall (in Alice) - with a big ear to ear smile.

I do love studying the Spider and Spider Medicine.
The Spider has been one that has helped many times in life.
Much of the help is not clear at first. The Spider usually makes
you think long and hard about events or situations. Even then those
Spider tricks and riddles carry on teaching into other events and situations
and you learn to look at things differently. Not just at what might be apparent at the time.

I seen this one teaching on Spider that was beyond any teaching I ever heard.
It was on youtube and I took it with a grain of salt.

Now I assume the man is part of seminars or some type of pay to stay,

that made my go back to listen to more to see if anything peeked my interest.

Some youtubes credit the Santa/Shaman-mushroom connection/tradition to Saami, - which is true, but I think we got it from the pre-proto- (whatever the term - people - who later became known as) Chukchi/Koryak.

Also, I sometimes wonder if our 2 styles of 'joiking' (Karelian&Saami) started during that time period as well as I do not think our Euro ancestors - the Western Hunter Gatherers 'joiked'.
