Quotes from Ernest Holmes and The Science of Mind
..all thought is creative...
When we learn to trust the Universe, we shall be happy, prosperous and well. We may stumble, but always there is that Eternal Voice, forever whispering within our ear... __________________ ., , , "Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by riding daily in a balloon of divine perception. Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones...Meditate unceasingly, that you quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence" ~~Lahiri Mahasaya, the guru of Yogananda's guru I have no scientific evidence for anything I say. Better to PM me if you want me to see a post to me. I miss a lot. |
Is this an affirmation, or your belief?

I believe he just left out the quotation marks. So it is likely from Ernest Holmes.

That book Science of mind is amazing. There's two versions - the 1926 version and the 1938 version.
I suggest the 1938 version as he is writing/editing it from the experience he gained since his 1926 version. Both versions are outstanding. |

Quotes from Ernest Holmes and The Science of Mind
All,
I've found the online reference below, absolutely invaluable to utilize. Like me, I'm hoping you enjoy it as much as I have for years, and most especially how Ernest Holmes' knowledge dovetails with other sources I've come to enjoy on my "soul-journ" through Spiritual Forums. After a while of reading and comparing, one gets a sense of the contours of many aspects of Spirituality to build into a cohesive picture for one's self to grow and use. Through this way of thinking, I've discovered that merely acquiring knowledge is a useless exercise. Unless applied correctly and wisely (i.e. with Love), acquiring knowledge is as useless as working as hard as Hercules to clean out the Aegean stables, because his "resultant" effort only became PHD (piled higher and deeper). :icon_eek: Want quotes? Enjoy the answer Ernest Holmes quoted to this question: Is man's mind finite or infinite, and is it possible for a finite mind to understand the Infinite? (see quote to page 31 from the ref below). Hope you enjoy them all in the reference, below. HUGE THANKS TO MISS HEPBURN FOR STARTING AN ENTIRE THREAD ON SF DEVOTED TO ERNEST HOLMES! See 2nd reference. Reference: http://www.newthoughtlibrary.com/hol....htm#TopOfText Question And Answers on the Science of Mind, by Ernest Holmes - 1935 - Master Contents Guide.
