Question about subscribing to threads
 

When I go into my User CP I notice that I'm often subscribed to threads, but I don't even know how to subscribe to threads - is it something that happens automatically, or have I pressed a button without realising it?

It auto subscribes you.

Go to:

Control Panel - Edit Options

Scroll down

Default Thread Subscription Mode

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Default Thread Subscription Mode:

Now go to Control Panel
Then go to "List Subscriptions"
Choose to unsubscribe from those that have already been made.
