Is this Reiki?
 

I am attuned to Reiki III, but I haven't used it much.

I caught a cold this past week and had a dry/scratchy throat that made me cough a number of times.

But when I sent it energy with intent alone, it flared up and irritated my throat and made me cough more.

Today, I just put my hands on my throat and intended that Reiki go into it, and I did not cough. It did not irritate, and it felt a lot softer.

When I intend energy to send with thought alone and not using hands, it feels almost forceful. It feels like pressure in my neck, and irritates my cough.

Are there two types of energy I'm working with?

Or can Reiki irritate a sore throat, and feel like it's under pressure?

There is only 1 energy, no matter what type of Reiki or holistic therapy you do it all comes down to the focus of intent. Maybe without having your hands placed, your intent wasn't fully on healing but on the cough itself? Energy is intelligent so regardless where your hands are placed or if you have used the symbols etc they will automatically come on.

Have you ever walked into a sacred place or a hospital/care home? My hands instantly start channelling the energy. There is also times where people will randomly come stand next to me and start chatting. Again I feel them the healing instantly begin without placing my hands or using the symbols

I have a radionics tool (powered orgonite) that generates a scalar field. When I did this, it felt great on my sore throat and itchy lungs. It did not make me cough. So if it's the same energy, it's a different flavor. It still had some pressure to it, but it felt different than the Reiki I was sending. A lot softer. It generates a 528Hz field of Universal Love. I am not sure if Reiki has a frequency.

Reiki accelerates healing. There are times when the dis-ease has caught enough hold, so to speak, that the acceleration appears to flare up the symptoms before they release. Other times, there is more ease to the healing and you don't suffer through the acceleration.

Is Love the same as Reiki?

When I charge my drink with Love, is that Reiki?

I taught someone to use their hands and love and they had miracles happen under their hands.

So I would say that Reiki is the movement and love is the expression.

Reiki literally means universal energy. If you try to use your own, personal energy you are not pulling in reiki that is why it either doesn't work, weakens you or causes you to be tired. There is a practice called Therapuetic Touch that is taught to nurses when they have no other classes they can take to keep their certifications and it is about giving your personal energy to others. Many people who practice Therapuetic Touch actually get the symptoms of what ever ailment they are trying to heal in someone else. Reiki does not work that way because you are not using your personal energy. It is like being the cord that plugs in to the electric socket so the lamp can light.
