Cabochon crystals energy?
What do you think?
A cabochon is a gemstone that has been shaped and polished, as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex obverse with a flat reverse. Cabochon was the default method of preparing gemstones before gemstone cutting developed. They do look lovely, although I wish they didn't had a flat reverse; so it would be like a mini palm stone. What do you think of cabochons energy? I mean, I would like to purchase but not for jewelry's. Maybe gather a bunch of them close to my spheres and my desk etc.. They look gorgeous.. perhaps with enough cabochons in bulk and pilled near each other, they could have a torus energy as high as a sphere/bigger crystal and affect the room as well. As for close to body/meditation/wear, small pieces are fine anyway. |
I haven't tried cabochons or read of using them for spiritual purposes. Out of all the books I have about crystals, none of them mention cabochon cut crystals. Seems to me that you need to experiment with them to find your answers. I'm imagining placing them in a circle around tumbled and/or natural/raw crystals. Like making a grid out of them. I've made a grid before but not with cabochons.
Good luck with experimenting and remember to take notes. |
Cabochons have their place. They resonate with the material they are made from. Some can get pretty expensive. A lot depends on the size and the material they come from.

Sounds like a great choice.

A cabochon I possess is called Sonora Sunset, sometimes known as Sonoran Sunrise, which is a beautiful specimen of Chrysocolla Cuprite.
