Is changing food routines/diet okay to be hard?
 
Hii,

I drink an awful amount of coffee to keep my brain at peace (due to some condition I have less trouble with my own mind when drinking coffee) and I have issues with not eating meat as meat is my go to release of emotion. However I’ve tried to change this. I wanted to become vegan and only drink tea as extra. I came really far for someone so dependent (was vegetarian for a half year and lessened coffee for two weeks). However is it acceptable to be that hard that after that you get issues and have to go back? I really want it and am putting my efforts there regularly, but it just isn’t easy at all. While others say “just do it slowly” like building it up. But that doesn’t work as my mind doesn’t allow it.

So just the simple question mainly intended for validation:

Is it ok to be bad at changing my diet? And to lessen coffee?

Hey!

It's all up to you, to your habits, how you consider food etc.

Maybe the question is: why do you want to change it?
I have changed my own diet because I started to feel pains sometimes in joints. My skin was also not great and I had also stomach pains sometimes.

So, basically, I had an objective: be healthier.

If you want to cut coffee but don't find any bad consequence to it, it will be very hard. On the contrary, if you see that it has bad impacts on your sleep (or else), then reducing will make you sleep better, and you will have much less difficulty to do so.
I stopped eating meat because I found a better alternative (beans and greens) that really helped me have a better concentration and less joints pains. If I had seen no impact, I don't think I would have continued.
