The eightfold path of yoga ashtanga
Dhyan is the exploration of consciousness.. What are mind and consciousness? To enter consciousness and grasp the Self/Atman niyama is required. The mind is deceptive and is what Christians refer to as Satan. If one doesn't escape the prison of mind and flesh they remain in a matrix of linguistic constructs. That is not reality.
