Are there any useful and helpful postings about Automatic Writing as my dear Daughter passed on 27th February this year. I am sure she wants to speak to us. What is the best way to achieve this?

Sorry for your loss.

The loss of somebody very dear started my quest for knowing about the beyond, many years ago. Motivation is the most powerful ingredient on such quests.

It's simple enough to try, Pete. Get a pad of paper, a pen or pencil and sit somewhere quiet and comfortable where you're not going to be distracted. Hold the pen/pencil as you would normally and try to relax your mind.

See if anything happens but please don't get despondent if results aren't instantaneous. It needs practice for you to 'switch off' and your daughter will first need to learn how to control you when you're relaxed and ready. That can take time.

Please be confident and send out your thoughts to your daughter that you are making yourself available if automatic writing is what she wants to do - good luck. :hug3:

As for me, it is easy for me to recognize if I am doing automatic writing. If I all of a sudden begin writing with my right hand, I assume it is 'automatic writing' because for me, writing with my right hand is not 'normal', I am left handed.

There's just one more point I wish I'd made for the original poster and that's to be wary of ne'er do wells taking advantage of 'an open door' for their own purposes.... :icon_frown:

Remember when you first do it you may not make any sense of it. It could look like scribble, but keep at it and you will see words forming.

First, I am sorry for your loss.

There are many ways to contact the departed. You can use tarot cards, Spanish cards and even English cards. you can use matches, candles and mirrors. You can use pen and paper and you can use random events.

There is no "right" way though there ARE wrong ways to go about it. This depends on your own strength, faith and the grieving process stage you are on.

I would recommend direct communication. It is the safest one as it limits the interaction you have with the other side to only those that are important to you.

whichever you decide to use, remember to ground yourself. Strengthen your faith and spirituality and remember that there is a time and a moment for everyone.

The LAW OF RAPPORT and COMMUNICATIONS determines who you can and cannot connect to spiritually. Spirits are just people and the majority of spirits like people know very little.. for they are very young.. although time itself does not guarantee progression. You can be young and wise.. and very old and still dark and hovering around Earth.

The odd thing I have noticed is some post seem interesting only to find out I made the post and I have no recollection of writing that post. The above post by me is one example.
