I see there's no headings for empaths on this web site basically thats what I am. If there was I think lots of other empaths would flock to this site

Most of us have empathy at some level, some more than others but does that justify it being a specialism?

You can start threads on the subjects you're interested to discuss, using the word "empath" in the subject line. The web search engines will discover your posts, and whoever's interested in talking about it will check your posts, and this site.

On the other hand, once your emotional call was made, other empaths should feel attracted without much conventional help.

Just be yourself wherever you land here. I’m a highly sensitive empath, it hasn’t stopped me.

I have been on sites with only empaths, until they realize themselves free from the confinement’s of being one, I’ve found they ban together like flies. Mostly to talk painbodies, which for me can be draining now I’m on the other side of myself. So the thing I’ve learned, is that while they stay together in this way, life itself in everyway, where they struggle (and many do, to the extreme) cannot be walked through.

In saying this, it’s an important realisation in ‘acceptance’, ‘understanding’ and acknowledgement’ ..

But at some point we all have to get on with life..let all of life strip back those walls that keep you ‘labelled’

I'm not familiar with the "empath" concept. Is being "empath" considered to be desirable or not?

It’s a gift in many ways of those not contained by it, often a curse for those contained and unable to break free from the overloaded environmental triggers..

For an empath its a curse when one believes the "vibes" felt coming form others comes from her or him. It's a gift in knowing directly all the different ways to be in this world others have.

I’m an empath. Most people are actually, to one degree or another. It’s very challenging to be an empath in a world full of empaths who can’t control what they project lol! It doesn’t help that I’m not particularly great at controlling it myself. My shielding is terrible. No one gets a coconut every time lol!

Unfortunately I have to stay away from certain stimulus. I’m uncomfortable in crowds, I dislike close quarters, I avoid people who broadcast negative energy. I don’t even listen to what they say anymore, I don’t have to. I just sniff them and I know right away from their smell if they’re good for me or not.

What comes out of the mouth and what is broadcast by ones energy are two entirely different stories!
