It's kind of funny to be posting this on a Spiritual Forum, but what the heck?

So I made my first stock purchases in years today and lost 2% right from the start:rolleyes: I'm betting on marijuana stocks, AI stocks and robotic stocks.

Just curious if anyone knows a business sector that you predict will do well in the future. My guess is everyone will be sitting at home smoking pot while the smart machines run the world. :D

All those money handouts increase inflationary pressure, so market indexes will go high.

It is of course not just a matter of knowing which business sector will do well in the future, but doing so before everybody else does and expectations are already built into the price. In any case, I like your predictions of the future. :biggrin: Of course, with all those machines running the world, we won't really have a need for all those people sitting at home smoking pot, so I don't know who will foot that bill. Maybe they will have to invent machines to sit home and smoke the pot. I see a script for a dystopian stoner movie here.

Hmm...:biggrin: Actually, there is speculation regarding the time when machines will take over all menial tasks such as production, leaving humanity to pursue Spiritual, Artistic and Self-fulfilling endeavors.

something like hemp will take time to really take hold. But still not a bad choice. Right now in the u.s. commercially growing it is a problem. There's farmer's in Wisconsin trying to grow it effectively. Growing hemp is a lost art that's being relearned. Also the regulations are unclear to law enforcement. Along with the people who steal crops before there ready for harvest. All pose issues at this time. "High risk" I think it would be a good long term investment. At the moment most of our hemp comes from Canada. There's company's just starting to make "legal smokeables" in states where it's not legal yet. Like Wisconsin. We have a local company who produces a product like I mentioned. Called "Vance global". Good product :wink: support your local farmer's :wink: As more company's like this emerge it would increase the value of hemp as a whole.

Zoom or some video platform for when lots more of the health and education systems go online.
Hand sanitiser. Tracking apps.
Something to do with the medical field like nanotechnology or a solution to antibiotic resistence.
Herbicide. Pesticide. Agricultural tech.

Inverse investing I think its called on a buisiness you think will go bust and make money off it (apparently that is a thing according to an investment podcast I listened to). I should have done that with my mates app cause it failed pretty miserably. We could have split the money I made off its failure lol.

I hope this thread is just for fun because I am no way a professional lol!

neither am I. I am only pretending I know what I am talking about. But you never know strange things happen. But there is a lot of potential in hemp and it's related product's.
