I'm crazy about horses but cats and dogs and mice are nice too, lol.

This may be very indulgent, but I'm waiting for Dr Who to download.

Am surprised by the responses so far (dogs, cats). They are so close to our level of consciousness...however I guess they are a 'safe' bet and keep us in our comfort zone.

We know where we are with a cat or a dog.

I do like something challenging. Something that lives deep deep down in the salty sea and is rather unusual to look at.

Or something that is so 'ugly' (in our eyes), our curiosity is piqued to discover more about it.

How 'bout a sloth?

Aye sloths are good, they are akin to our personality (lazy flibbertijibs) and also rather wild. I'll give you a point. :tongue:

Wolves are one of my favorites.

Bees :eek: Um... they are cute cartoons and stuffed animals! :laughing8:

Foxes ! - just about the most adaptive animal in Britain, thriving in urban environments. Revered by our ancestors as being wise and, being a burrowing animal, having a link into more than one realm of being, carrying messages between Middle Earth [here] and Underworld. Old foxes were said to carry pearls of wisdom in their heads.

Cats, especially big one's like Lions and Tigers.

I'm really quite animal mad! So picking a favourite is difficult, if not impossible.
I adore cats and dogs, having kept both since I was born.
I also have particularly affection for birds - again, having kept them - and horses. I was watching a show called 'Countryfile' in which they reported that horses such as the Dartmoor Pony who 'don't make the grade' when it comes to selling and simply culled.
It shocked and unsettled me so much that I feel so inclined to do something to help these beautiful animals :smile:

I don't know whey but the big brown bear is my favourite.

Hamsters are mine :D

I love all animals, mainly why I'm a vegetarian. My favourite though are cats I love them all.

I like almost all....but dogs...and parrots...are exceptions for me.....i just love them...

A raven or big crow. They are so smart and beautiful. They follow me around and I love them in every way.

im in love with all animals my life would not be complete without them but i would have to say that killer whales are my fav :)

Birds of prey are my favourite.. especially buzzards and eagles..

I like bears, I get called a big bear a lot too :D weird

I love lots of animals! I have ferrets and cats in my house, so I love them, of course. As for wild, I like seeing birds such as crows, hawks, owls, and water birds (egrets, herons, geese, ducks, etc.) in my town. I also like ostriches! XD
Then there's tigers, wolves, camels, foxes, weasels, cows, rats, horses..... Ah so many!!

Cats I'am totally cat crazy.

Me too. For some reason the grey wolf had significance for me even as a child.

Parrots are interesting creatures too.

I love all animals, and really could not choose just one.

Fox - a very old inhabitant of Britain and it's "cunning" is well deserved. It is a burrowing animal so was considered a messenger between our world and Underworld - the spirit world. A potent familiar to have at your side.

In domesticated animals then it has to be cats
Wild animals, blimey there are lots, but I am drawn strongly to big cats, wolves & foxes, but also lurve hedgehogs & birds ... buzzards are prob my fave but then theres nuthatch & long tailed tit ........ oh so many !

Gosh - I really don't know how to choose. I would have to say guinea pigs since I own two, but I also love cats, wolves, tigers and polar bears. I love birds too, especially eagles.

oh my. I love so many; it would be hard to choose 1 or 2.

I will write polar bear. Something about them living in such remote places and enjoying the cold fascinates me.
