Today I have been listening to dream pop from Anna of the North (specifically, the songs Feels and Lovers). This is a genre I am really getting into now, and I think it sounds better when girls sing it.

The song of the day is Human by the Human League. Using more American style production from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, I feel that it is the least like a typical Human League song…..but that’s no bad thing.

Song of the day is Spaceman by Babylon Zoo. At the time of release, I believe that it was the fastest selling debut song in the UK at least, mainly due to being used in a Levi jeans advert. The advert itself used the chorus line only, and lots of people complained that the rest of the song was just dystopian electro-grunge. I however, like the rest of the song, so I wasn’t moaning.
