Are we living in a virtual simulation?
 

I am sure you have all heard the idea that the Universe is like one big computer? And that we are living in a simulation. I have my own thoughts on this and I am interested in what you guys think.

I suggest you start the conversation by presenting your thoughts.

This applies to all the other threads you started. It feels that you're here to poll for data.

Definitely computer analogy makes today's computer savvy people understand spirituality better. But universe can be far more complex that that .

You may present ur thoughts to which people can specifically reply.

Can you expand more on your analogy?

Intelligence of computer is limited to the intelligence of programmer who creates is . Anything beyond the programmers/creators imagination makes it work efficiently (create 'bug's so to say programmer lingo).

On the other hand universe being a multiverse working in multiple planes in multiple timelines and geographies is vibrant & full of life. Computers just can not create this kind of vivacity/life/fun with its enormous complexities.

We should be happy n grateful that computers do all mundane work with efficiency and accuracy and give us more time for some more creative endeavors.

I have not been able to find any flaws in the program
so I suspect we are not part of a simulation.

I actually have been thinking the same lately.
I see the universe as a big computing space with unlimited programming potential. - but written in only one programming language with endless flexibility and depth.
Each of our lives are written uniquely by each soul with the same programming language. - so there is definitely identifiable logic/physic.
Our souls step into their own programmed simulation to experience their own creations.
Interesting thought....
