You have described what i have been going through so beautiful. I have had so much pain in the last few years and acceptance was hard for me. i was so unkind to myself. Earlier this afternoon, i wrote a letter to myself and opened the box of emotions. i imagined all the things I have kept in that box and i hugs that small hurt child/ adult and i told her i loved her and I am proud of her. Tonight I found your post. i need this more than i could have expressed. Thank you.
