What Cards do you Have
Hello
I found all my cards yesterday and I was stunned by the amount of them I had and how varied the collection was. I thought I would share the list of mine. Some I have used often and some are "virgin" to me using. Yet at the time they all called to me for some reason. I am not one to collect what does not resonate, but why so many never used ? Just counting them, I have 51, tomorrow will be 52, haha. And as soon as the Moonchild Tarot is in stock at the shop I will have 53. OMG!!!
There's only a few I don't use, like default RWS Tarot, default Lenormand, and some weird deck I was given (second-hand) that so far doesn't really resonate. Hello
Like me a long list. Good to see I am not alone in my madness. Lynn |
I have two decks but am currently only using one. My other is in storage.
I do not collect too many decks. I used to have more. They were stolen from me. I have found that two which resonate with me are quite enough. Any more I'd feel to be sensory overload. It's also hard for me to find decks I like. Light airy cards, fairy cards, angel related cards do not call to me. I like cards darker in imagery but not necessarily dark colors- hard to read. Or I like Native type decks but have not had one in years. My favorite native deck was stolen. I can not remember what it was called now. |

At that time I maybe had 10-15 decks, hihi. But then I didn't do readings for people and YouTube yet. And more so: I didn't watch other readers yet. Doing that exposes you to a whole lot of gorgeous decks that make you very greedy, haha. I will reach my 52 tomorrow. Delivery's been delayed as postal service is extremely busy, grmble. |
I'm currently sitting with 147 tarot decks, 78 oracles, 2 lenormand and 1 kipper deck so I'm not going to sit and list them, it would take too long.
I haven't bought a deck for so long (although I have had some gifted). There's nothing out there currently, or within the 2020 upcoming releases that has piqued my interest or fits the criteria for the direction my path is going, except for the one deck I have on my wish list. |

I think I have 7-10 decks. Haha! I need to throw Shadowscapes out. It was my "rookie purchase" moment - loved the art, did not appreciate how useless it would be for me to work with because it's over-detailed for how I roll visually as a reader. The only deck I'd seriously consider buying is the Game Of Thrones deck. I sometimes think about Linestrider, but I'm not sure there's enough in there for me to connect with (I'm minimalist but not that minimalist!!!). |

I thought you really loved Shadlowscapes? It's not my cup of tea but I seem to remember you used to do a lot of readings with it. |
I've just counted mine and it seems I've currently got 138 decks, which include Kipper and Lenormand. Like 55Degrees, I'm not going to list them all.
There's a few decks I've seen on YouTube that I would like but unfortunately, money is too tight to buy any at the moment. |
WOW Lynn and FairyCrystal!
I have: Mystic Faerie Tarot Deck - Barbara Moore & Linda Ravenscroft Queen of the Moon Oracle - Stacey Demarco Waiting on: Deck of the Enchanted Soul - Yasmeen Westwood |
