Are the fae trying to work with me? What do I do?
 

So yesterday I not only found some mushrooms I also found a dead cicada AND my obsidian i was carrying broke. Maybe it’s just coincidence but could this be the fae wanting to work with me? I was kinda freaked out so I put some acorns next to the cicada as an offering and set an intention saying “You are very kind and I respect your presence but I cannot accept your gift”

What do you guys think?

Time will tell.

Watch out for patterns that may be a sign.

All bugs die a bug dying release nutrients back into the Earth helping to sustain Mother Earth,
the fae are not always easy to see.but like Big john has said look out for signs

Agree with your other repliers. Time will tell. Beautiful indeed to read of your offering, so very thoughtful, so attracting.

Unfortunately too many "into" spirituality want to work with metaphysical energies but never think of making an offering.
