If you could flashy thingy someone into forgetting something, and those things really worked, how would you want to use it. Eternity is a long time and I do not want you all getting bored.

it starts off sounding like a question of how use the device on others,
but ends feeling like it's asked about being used on oneself.
i have no interest in altering anyone's thinking/memory processes...
and as for myself, i'd prefer to remember things with clarity.
[remembering how painful instances had been cured is a possibility.]

Thats a morally objectionable question. You could get anyone to marry you or be your friend or family. Use it at a company to make then think ur the CEO. Rob a bank then make everyone forget.

Would be interesting using it on yourself. Fill a room with descriptions of yourself doing everything imaginable. Then flash it and 'wake up' thinking ur the king of te country
