The Merry Maidens stone circle Penrith Cornwall 4000 years ago during a solstice, or December 22nd 2012 to see what all the fuss was about.

hippocratie 09-03-2011 01:14 PM

It's true, travel all through time and we still can't change the world we live in.

Internal Queries 09-03-2011 01:20 PM

hmmm i'd like to see the Earth pre-industrial revolution. be cool to see the planet before we humans started trashing it, before the black hwys scarred the landscape, before fences sectioned off every piece of dirt, before urban and suburban sprawl had spread like scabies on the Earth's skin and the wildernesses were still vast and pristine.

Uhmar 09-03-2011 02:20 PM

I would likes to go all the way back to between 0 and day 1 B.C.

I guess it would be I have sparked but not all the way to day one.

I just want to see what all the gosh darn hype was truly about

norseman 09-03-2011 02:53 PM

I would like to be in a Hunter-Gatherer tribe on the North Sea plain before it flooded, so about 6000 BC

nightowl 10-03-2011 12:52 AM

livluv 14-03-2011 10:19 PM

fascinating thought and responses. :)
I always imagined going to "simpler" times (which is, of course, "relative"). I like the idea of living naturally - native american style, pre-"Thanksgiving dinner"
;)

Mabuz Luciferi 21-03-2011 04:29 PM

Four time periods
1. Alexander the Great 356 - 323 BC
2. Cassivellaunus 56 BC
3. Cunobelin 1 CE to 40 CE
4. King Arthur 500 CE to 560 CE

LadyVirgoxoxo 22-03-2011 07:04 PM

I never understood what CE stands for?

Mabuz Luciferi 24-03-2011 12:13 AM

C.E. = Common Era

Wikipedia article on C.E.

nightowl 24-03-2011 12:19 AM

...I also think I would like to go back to the 1700's when my family immigrated to the US and see what it was like.

LadyVirgoxoxo 24-03-2011 06:56 PM

Thank you Mabuz!
I would also like to go back to when there were many gypsies in europe as I feel a connection with those people.

luvblooms 25-03-2011 10:53 PM

Felynx 26-03-2011 08:51 PM

Ive seen sooooooooo much in my incredibly long years of existence, but really, if I could I would see Pink Floyd again. Unfortunately thats not one of those memories I kept, except for the knowledge of it happening. *sigh*

Seeing The Beatles at the Cavern Club.

Tombstone AZ, 1881

Student4Life1975 23-07-2011 07:18 AM

fun question.

- sept 11/2001 ground zero, just witnessing it first hand would stay with you forever, and constantly remind you of how life should be cherished.
- the birth of jesus, to verify his existence at least
- the year 3000, just to see if and how the human race progresses.
- roswell, new mexico 1947, to verify aliens exist.
- may 29, 1954. attend the first builderberg conference, and see if they are truly tring to start a new world order and take over the world.
- 1744, to stop the rothschild family from becoming overly wealthy and owning most of the world.

Colhad75 21-10-2011 09:09 AM

Two places I would go back to if I was to go back in time. First is the dinosaurs, to see if they did exist and to see what really happened to them. Then I'd comeback to present times and tell the world.

I would also go back to the times when the Great Pyramids were being built, then comeback to present times and tell the world.

Wonderful choice!

I would choose the witch trials in the mid 17th century in America. I feel so drawn to that era it is insane. I am obsessed and honestly will probably ending up writing a book about it sometime during my life. I had a gypsy/medium who relocated to Nevada from Romania tell me that one of my past lives was in that era.

ellespirit 21-11-2011 05:39 AM

1940's avante garde era and the time of the classic sophists in ancient greece

For me the Old West also, huge fan of that era.

Desertrose 21-11-2011 08:54 PM

The Old West

I would like to go back to the Old West - the OK Corral, Custer's Last Stand and the like. I remember several lives as a Native American and the freedom of living in touch with nature.

Mayflow 22-11-2011 01:36 AM

I would like to be able to visit all periods of time at the same time.

Blooms Bright 22-11-2011 04:06 AM

Wow...so many great ideas! However, I would like to travel back and watch my grandparents love story unfold.

~Bright Blessings

sesheta 24-11-2011 01:45 AM

I would visit ancient Egypt; the US Civil War/Wild West; Arthurian England - those would be my top three :)

BlackWolf 24-11-2011 01:13 PM

OOOOO Arthurian England would be fantastic. You could talk with Merlin! That's a great one. I suppose I would want to meet Leonardo DaVinci too. ALthough I already posted on here that I would want to go back to the 15 and 1600's during the witch trials in America and England.

sesheta 24-11-2011 10:29 PM

Thought of another one: I want to go back to when/where Edgar Allan Poe died, to see what really happened to him :)

WhiteWarrior 24-11-2011 10:48 PM

1862 International Exhibition, London.

Skins_Princess 26-11-2011 10:45 AM

I think I want to go back to the 1950s or 1960s America, around the time of beginning of the African-American era, just to compare notes to the current one surrounding homosexuals. I've heard arguments that the current civil rights fight was so similar to the last one and vice versa.

But other than that, I think I would want to visit ancient Greece and/or Rome.

GrimSavage 30-11-2011 10:56 PM

I think I would go back to Renaissance Europe, or perhaps a few decades in the future to see if things calm down on a global scale.

Serenity69 12-12-2011 10:17 AM

I would like to go back to 1983, when I was 14 years of age.

I was thinking the same. That info would be worth more than anything i could imagine.

Imagine what a video of that would do to the world. You would have no problems selling a copy. YOU wouldn't tell anyone you had it, you may not live for long if you did!
