the subtlest of flickers seeking outcomes ~
hypnotises soul, our consciousness numbs |
know oh worthy hermit that something is amiss ~
when attention strays away from love, light and bliss |
within the vast void sounds a cosmic gong ~
it is God’s love song that takes all along |
confined within the womb of vibrant space ~
the light it veils, may be seen by God’s grace |
heart’s burning yearning to transcend this domain ~
invokes God’s grace showering on soul bliss rain |
the first thing we see, sense or touch is space ~
melding therein we see God face to face |
unlike a hermit who is still ~
unconscious minds have no free will |
as long as we believe we’re body-mind ~
duality will grip soul in its bind |
doing what needs to be done, here and now ~
breath by breath we give to God a deep bow |
If we be still, joy will arise,
then with nothing there to apprise, distanced from thoughts of loss or gain, we dance carefree in the bliss rain, moment by moment in stillness, marking the path to soul’s wellness. |
