I think your point is quite valid....as for why this has happened???

I think it is because the concept of chivalry has died and the rise of feminism in western nations is what killed it.

This has only happened once, but when I went for a motorcycle ride, I have never experienced such fear and joy before in my life. It was fast. It was dangerous. It was free. It was everything I wanted.

Used to be sex and drugs. Now I guess it's just music and nature. To a lesser extent, art and literature.

When I accomplish a project.

One of my most intense feelings of being alive I remember was when I woke up from an uncharacteristically violent nightmare, in which I was madly enraged. I felt an unbelievable rush while waking up.

My inner guide explained that it was intended to show me that I can still feel very alive (I was in a more apathetic period). The guidance was that I can feel again very alive either the nice way, or the hard way. It is my choice. I create my reality. The dream had no premonitory, or warning meaning.

When things are in a state of 'Flow' for me. It's invigorating on all levels - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual (however you want to define spiritual), and because of that it gives me the energy to keep on going - as this has been an exceedingly long slog for me. I don't think that things started to smooth out until around 2014, when I moved into my current apartment.
