5. I communicate the words of discarnate entities who have not lived on earth but who appear to offer advice. The advice may be for me or others but none is linked to the discarnate personally and the discarnate is not linked to them. What am I?

One thing I was taught from the outset is to question the spirit. No sincere spirit ever resents being questioned. To accept-without-filters is to open yourself to perhaps less-worthy ones. And if you're not working with anyone you can identify in some way then you just have to trust their integrity. If you're working by yourself what comes is from yourself.

For example, how would somebody detect a 'prankster' using several different accounts on a Forum?

As for gaining the absolute identity of a 'Spirit': how come Socrates appears to have not even gotten to 1st base on that subject?

But in my understanding, there is yin and yang energies, if one takes over the other one, then it's abuse. There should be mutual respect otherwise it's over.
