To make it a proper Christmas you have got to have Snow on christmas eve

Like it used to be when I was growing up.

You had to dig your way out of the House it was so thick.

Now we are lucky if we get a flurry of snow in the winter.

We need snow at Christmas !
We did always get snow didn't we?
We don't get enough now to even make a snowball never mind a snowman. And round the corner from me on Hill 60 at roundhay park all the families with children sledging down the hill.....
And it's just so beautiful and magical and silent.
It creeps up on you unawares until you look out of the door and see it in the lamplight and in that moment you are transformed to a moment of wonderment.
It's like millions of tiny angels sent from heaven to shroud us in love and warmth....
