In my opinion, it cannot be erased. It could be suppressed, but never erased. It's all energy, and energy is indestructible.

I think so too, nothing 'vanishes', it just finds another form to continue 'existing'..

If it changes then it can no longer be what it was.

But is it 'still there' or 'somewhere else' or 'gone'?

Gone I think, if something changes then the old is gone.

Just found out about St. Dymphna, patron saint of mental disorders. She may be one to consider. Wish you good luck and hope you find the peace you are looking for.

I have found for whatever the issue, it must be a saint that I resonate with based on their story and the essence of their patronage. Reading about their story and then reflecting on their presence is a good way to open and sustain the healing process. Whenever you think about them they are there.

Unless it exists in the present, otherwise it has changed.

[B don't know I don't
But my mum had dementia and she lost a lot of memories she did she remember something of 30 and 40 years ago some of the members of a memories was stolen because of her dementia
My uncle had Partners and my uncle had Parkinson's Disease and alzheimer's dementia with it and hey lost a lot of his memory is well
At only where the memories can be a raised can be erased
But that one I don't know I know some of the flashbacks I get I don't like
And I cannot erase them at a time I wish I could
