I meant to say before that I know the blue border around the painting is YUK but that is what my son wanted. I told him it wouldn’t look good and afterwards he agreed with me so we changed it to burgundy.

I did another Ray Charles one for my boyfriend with a burgundy surround and it looked great so I’ll post than one in a minute. I split up from him a few months later. I felt like saying……….hey can I have my painting back ha ha. Oh well it’s all good.

Amazing how you can paint skin & tones.
I'm currently struggling with that, hihi. Funny when you think that I started out with portraits and now find it so incredibly difficult.
But you got it down to -literally- an art form!

FairyC. Yep we’ve all got our strengths and weaknesses even when it comes to art.

I’ve always found portraits easy but doing what you do, that is landscapes I find harder. Whenever I’ve painted one I just look at it and say……..well there’s something missing here. It just never seems to feel right.

I just think that you (Red) , Fairy, and Uma are all amazing artists and it's a joy to witness all of your works of art.

I would have to second that
