sat at our camp at glastonbury festival 95'. me and B wanted to hit the the happening. so as we were fungi's we shot off and told the rest we'd meet them at the dance tent. after about 300 metres we cracked the deck chairs we were carryning and sat for a beer break, giggle and chat with who-ever was passing. B had a moment and so i promptly reminded him of the quest and all was good. balance returned we set off again on our search for the rock n roll moment.
we got to the mainstage area and decided to cut through the crowd. jogging at quite a canter we cut deftly through the crowd, dodging everyone and jumping the occasional odd bod but bumped into no-one, somehow. i felt like one of them indians out of last of the mohicans when they're running with their rifles, 'cept we had deckchairs lol. as we neared the farside of the crowd we came to a biggish opening in an otherwise tightly packed crowd, we stopped for another break, put the chairs down and cracked a can of beer...the sky was sparkling as were our eyes and just as we chinked beer cans with a "cheers m8!", timed to the second and coming from the main stage this rift kicked in... http://youtu.be/brzzM31G4x8 *air guitars* |
