Here’s some photo’s I took while on a ghost tour in Sydney, Australia in August 2010 with possible orbs. The location is at a site called the "Parbury Ruins" which is the remains of a cottage built in the 1800's. The ruins were discovered during construction of apartment buildings and have been preserved underneath the building.

Although I felt the spookiness/energy of various places on the tour and some of my other photos also contained orbs, this picture creeped me out as this was the site I most strongly felt something- a kind of creepy annoyed energy, and the odd shape of the orb. I've posted both the original and a zoomed in one. I've included some of the other orb photos from the ruins in the album (sorry that the image quality isn’t the best as it’s taken by an older phone camera).

Your pics are really interesting. I get a feeling of annoyance and someone wanting to be left alone - that they are annoyed that people are gawking at THEIR place.

I can sense a strong creepy/spookiness from the photos. That darkness...:icon_neutral:

As far as orbs, because I do photography, I personally believe they are nothing more than the reflection from the light and mirror transmitter from the internal parts of the camera(Sun glares or lightning glares). Other people may beg to differ...But,the energy in the photos, def undeniable..

Amazing pics thanks for sharing!

@Blueclover

But if it is not orbs then why does it happen to get a pic with orbs and the same place same time, etc...and the pic has no orbs?

I did get pics with orbs showing, when i visited an old plantation in Georgia. I stayed for the entire event so i was still on the grounds when it was dark and i kept taking pics. Some of the slave quarters pics have orbs. When i saw the pics i thought that maybe it had to do with something wrong with my digital camera but I'm not so sure anymore, because like i said above you can get pics with and without orbs in the same area with the same type of light exposure...

I tend to believe this also true ...
However, I have many pictures w/orbs around my late husband prior to his death ...
Around that time I started having dreams of both his grandmothers ...
Some of the pictures were taken w/different cameras by other people on separate occasions ...
They were given to me during the first year of his death ...
Most everyone was taken back when they realized there were orbs in the pictures they had taken of him ...
I shared pictures w/many widow/ers whose last few photos prior to death were filled w/orbs ...
We assumed they were relatives or friends who comforted them as well as waited to escort them following their passing ...
I recall one in particular w/5 orbs shaped like an arrow pointing directly at a woman who appeared healthy, but was in the late stages of ovarian cancer ...
Some things that cannot be proven simply happen ... :D

BTW, I got a bit of a creepy feeling looking at those pics ...

Thanks for the replies :D I've never looked too far into orbs in photos as a subject so it's interesting to hear different viewpoints, personally I think it can often be dust or the light or something in the physical world but I'm also open to it being something metaphysical as well... or maybe even ghosts/spirits/other beings using the physical to produce these effects?

Also interesting to me that everyone picks up on the creepy vibes... I still remember the feeling I got being in that location (I don't think I'd be keen on living in the apartments above the site) that being a bit freaked out when I was going through the photos and finding the photo there of the weird dark shape.
