Angel cards

Hi I was given angel cards by a friend she said she had cleansed them for me and doesn't need them anymore she had them given to her by a friend that didn't feel the connection with them anymore. What is the best way to cleanse the cards and how would I use them?

I typically burn some white sage and pass the cards over them, and then will sit with them for a bit and soak up the art/imagery on the card. I find it's a great way to connect with them if you really enjoy how they look.

There is a slew of things you can do.. I have some sage. I burn that. Plus I let anything that I bring in my home such as any object to sit for 48hrs before using so it can soak up my own energy. Doreen virtue says you knock your cards like you would on a door and that clears them
