My guardian guide is called WhiteFeather, he was my father in a past life as a Blackfoot squaw, he was a medicine man. I had a massive spiritual awakening in 2006, and he came into my conciousness. He is a Brotherhood guide, and this has been verified by other mediums. I also have a guide (shaman) called Golden eagle. Tai-ling is my tibetan guide, i work with many higher-guides. i have an Atlantis guide also. I am blessed to work with many guides and helpers, angels also.

ThinkingAloud... More important than knowing the names of your guides is getting into personal communication with them. There are various ways to do this. You could simply "ask the universe" or ask them to show you how to hear and sense them... asking sincerely from your heart.

Once you're connected with them they will give you their names... plus their priceless support and guidance.

My main Guides name is Rowena. The first time I asked for her name I kept "Ro" but could never get any farther so I gave up. 15 years later I tried again and I heard ROWENA like a thunderbolt in my head and also outside of myself. I love Rowena so much. She is my best friend and closest confidant...she not only guides me but comforts me mind, body and spirit.

My Guide is Gabriel.

Gabriel came in a purple light that filled my room in purple light and I could not see the furniture etc... Only the light! I had confirnmation it was Gabriel through many forms besides being told.. when a person asks for clarification from spirit I feel we each get them.. we just have to listen to our inner voice!

I am not yet sure; there was a post through which one of the forum members confirmed my spirit guides names are Pepi and Panta. Yesterday I did an auto typing i typed Samuel, Gabriel and Uriel. I have not heard of a angel called samuel, but when i did a google search it was Chamuel. But i know they are angel names and not guides.

I havent yet had a direct confirmation from my guides though.

I listened to this meditation from a website someone posted on this site a little while ago - last night (its only 8 mins) and it leads you into a forest where you see a big white curled up flower (like massive flower) and then the flower opens and in it is one of your guides - I met one of my guides named Rashidia, an indian woman who has been with me since I was 3. It was really motivating because I've been wanted to meet them for a while and I realized.. All it takes is initiative! If you want to meet your guides, meditate on them, ask for them to show and greet you, show you they are there and that your surrounded by their presence.

To my knowledge, I have 4 spirit guides (or 2, depending on you view it).

The first three (or one) are companion angels. I feel these entities would like to be considered one rather than three, but their triune form is due to their distinction as one entity with three faces (thusly, 3 individuals in one identity, if that makes sense. ... My insight on this is limited, since I don't consider myself so terrific at channeling.)

The summation of all three calls itself Sundance, but the triune forms individually are Sundance (envisioned as a blonde woman, a truly radiant spirit, very hippie-like with a leafy crown), Alexis (a black-haired, greek 'goddess' so to say. Very serene/tranquil... and what a coincidence! Alexis is a greek name), and Jezzibel (a red-head, more victorian, dressed in an earthtone dress w/ corset, a bit more alternative, mischevious in nature, darker)

Of course, these were identities I attached to them amiss my pondering of them. I do believe they helped me create their alter-ego's to some extent.

My fourth (or second) goes by the name of (as of recently, acquired through a reading done through here in fact =) ... ) Brendan. ... This spirit guide is not an angel, but a spirit who has been incarnated on this planet before as a living person. His appearance... actually... Is just like Eames from the movie Inception. (If you don't remember, he was the forager, the British man, who's big line was... "Don't be afraid to dream a little bigger darling.") .... For some reason, I ALWAYS see him in some kind of a bar setting. Not sure. Perhaps during some prior life of his, he was quite the patron. A lively character. although I don't quite understand his personality as of yet.

Here are rough understandings of my spirit guides. Usually when I refer to them, I simply embody them as 'Guidance'. ... With my non-focus on channeling, and my wishy-washy sense of certainty, this is all I can muster from my understanding of them. I could be 100% off, to be honest.

Henry. He is an African American - used to be a slave once. I know that I had a past life as a young woman whose grandparents were once slaves and I think the connection came from that lifetime.

He came into my life at a time when I needed him the most and told me his name.

He has always watched over me like a stern, but gentle father figure.

My other guides are St. Michael and St. Uriel.

Hi there, just wondering why we need others to tell us our guides name/s? I truly feel that for it to be meaningful and effective to us we have to.. kinda own it ourselves, discover it for ourselves. Should it be that easy, shouldnt we have to have an element of trust in our guides and more importantly in ourselves without having to ask others?

Its been asked before on here, does your guide need a name?
Can you just feel their vibe, presence and if so isnt that enough? Give them a name if they dont offer one, they have a great sense of humour I feel!

It's enough that they serve my growth and enlightenment by agreeing to act in the capacity of guide. I think guides change throughout one's life anyway, with different ones coming in at different times.. "experts" or specialists in the different life challenges we face as we learn and grow. So whatever group of guides you have today might not be the same ones you'd have say five years from now.

I can understand where you're coming from. I think, for me, it's more out of interest.

But you're right, ultimately it's just about feeling your guides more than anything. A name perhaps allows you to give them a sort of identity.

Well regret in terms of... it wasnt of me was it, it was from another, I truly feel that to KNOW something you have to feel , right down deep in your gut.

We are all going to work differently, as long as we respect that I reckon all is well :D

It's the EGO that needs to know the name of our guides, and in fact getting to know their enegy is more important than putting a name to them. Learning to recognise the way they come through to you, questioning and listening in return, building a relationship, stating your intent and ultimately aiming for that all encompassing KNOWING is what's important. Understanding that your team are working with you, even during the times of complete quiet when it feels like you've been abandoned, Accepting they are supporting you in the background, leaving you to work on self and the biggest lesson of all .. trust. Of self and spirit. Namaste x

Orbie what do I get? Well I get lots of information for other people, it comes through imagery, I get movie clips across my vision and also 'knowing' (I can't stand the labels of the 'clairs'!)

Rhetorical questions are my favourite but I walked past it the first time!

Since my last post I just attempted contact, here is what I received...

A hand held out as if to shake hands in a greeting, a beckoning motion, I stop it and ask to reveal its true essence, the hands open up and light and magical stuff emit from the open palms. It feels male, I see a male face yet it is not human and turns almost cartoonish... lots of nature symbols, flowers, rainbows, light... another hand, a ladies as the nails are painted, back to the male face, behind him stand maybe 8 figures but I get no sense of them.

I strongly believe that my guides are just older versions of me in my past lives, they are too much like me (not physically) and each one has something that makes up ME.

But the names are Phanes, Datleco, and the other two I don't know their names yet... one's Egyptian and the other is a Cherokee.

I used to believe I spoke with a guide while sitting in development circle etc and I had the name "Chin-Wuan" and he was Chinese. Although the last 6 months have been hard etc and I have lost my faith quite a bit. Hope you get to know your guides names, but more importantly get to communicate with them too. I think the trick is not to try too hard.

I have been told so many times that Ascended Masters can not be Guides but I wholeheartedly disagree with that. My Guide Rowena was listed in The Great White Brotherhood and I have a friend that frequently communicates with St.Germaine. The concept of Ascended Masters was introduced by Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, cofounder of the Theosophical Society back in the 30's which was the fundamental movement that we now term The "New Age" Movement today. I have asked Rowena several times if she is an Ascended Master because she is said to be one. Her reply has always been..."I am with you now"....It is so odd the way she responds to me. Most of the time it makes complete sense but sometimes I am am like "clarity please!!"...lol...Anyway, it is my understanding and this is just from what I have read(and you know how that goes) is that Ascended Masters can choose to work with certain people based on certain life themes we have chosen for ourselves.

i have come to know my main native Indian Cherokee guide as Jenna, i have had her all my life but only in the last 3 years has she come forth showing me so much of herself and me getting to know her. she is by my side always ....
i have also got a native American guide by the name silver horn which when i am doing my readings at home he will come in quite close and many conversations with him in great detail.
and with my reiki and crystal healing i have a guide called Anna from japan which helps me with the healing
i have come to notice that the more we seek in the development the more we get to know a lot more that help us along the way

I remember the first time I asked my main guide to step forward. What I got back was crazy and I was convinced I was imagining it...All I kept getting was row..which made me think of row, row, row your boat!!!..lol..I waited 15 years before I tried again and like a thunder crack both inside myself and through clairaudience I heard "ROWENA!".. I was like OK, already, I get it!! lol....

Seriously what I realize now is like others have said, it really doesnt matter what you call them. Often times I just say "My Spiritual Team"...It is ego that wants us to have a special name for our Guides and Guardian Angels. I know I have many Guides for different things but Rowena is the only one I talk to and who talks to me on a daily basis but I do feel my Guardians words at times..and feeling is what it is truly all about for me. Most people assume that they need a thunderbolt to come from the heavens and hit them in the head but your gut, emotions and feelings are the most important thing you have when it comes to your spirituality...In my opinion of course. As humans we are so consumed by ego that we have a hard time being hyper aware of what is going on around us. If we can just sit still and listen, it will usually come...and if someone told you it had to be a booming voice outside of yourself then they have some pretty amazing gifts. I always tell people to listen to that quiet voice inside themselves for the answers...whether it be your Guides, Angels or Higher Self you are connecting to the Divine Creator of All Things and isnt that what we are really aspiring to when all is said and done??

I've never been overly concerned with names either, and I know guides change over the course of a lifetime, this or that one leaving for another assignment while a new and different guide better suited to the concerns we're facing at the time is brought in. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't MIND knowing the vibrational frequency they assign to themselves (i.e., their "name") were they to spontaneously reveal it to me, but I'm not bothered by not knowing. I'm happy just to get messages of guidance from them, and I generally refer to them as either my cosmic team or more affectionately as "my friends on high" :D

thinkingoutloud sure.... it took me a while to get a conection with her and feel her energy .... but through medatation i first saw her as a young indian girl sitting out side with an open fire sitting infront of her i comunicated through thought.... i asked her a question and she answered in my thoughts i thought it was me at first hearing my own voice in my head but the answers come so quick and you know there not yours so then more questions and qicker the answers came then i wrote them down.
as said we have to believe if we dont it makes it harder for the guides to come through and make contact.

to make along story short i lost my mum in 2008 a great medium and claivoyant which made this journey and the opening to this spiritual path a lot easier at a young age we were doing psychometry with each other
mum came through a week after her passing in medatation with messages that she wanted stuff found and sent off to uk that not even dad knew about except for her ... so from there i believed in every word i get and recieve and havnt looked back since.

Well I tried to channel a while ago and I asked my guide what's name was and I got Troy. If you want to find out their names it's rather easy. I heard that you should quite yourself down for 5 minutes and than ask out loud "spirit guide, what is your name?" than you should get a telepathic message of what their name is. I do agree that we shouldn't worry about a name but more of the message that guide has. However finding out their names it quick and easy. Humans think names are important. It's how our brain indentifies things. If we don't know their name is soo much easier for our ego to tell us our guide isn't real. I'm sure guides understand this and don't mind giving us a name. I believe that getting a name from your guide is important and helpful for us. As long as we don't focus on it too much.

I believe mine is named Joan. I was having a pretty rough evening one night - very spiritually drained and I was going to sleep. I was fading out however I was not asleep yet, this I'm sure of and suddenly I was in a hospital waiting room almost and I saw this face coming close to me and I heard the name Joan (Arc). I thought it meant that my struggle I was going through could be compared to Joan of Arc but I shot straight up in bed and I just kind of new that her name was Joan. I didn't recognize her though and there was also a male but we didn't interact. It was rather quick...

Right now I believe I have meet four of my guides. I believe I know the name of three. Dereek, I relate him to the military as I picture a military type buzzcut , Maria has dark brown hair and sky blue eyes. The third is male but I don’t know much about him other then he seems to be Friar tuckish in appearance. The fourth is an animal guide Grizzly Bear named I believe Bart.

I dont ever like to use the word jealous or envious but when I hear people speak of animal guides I am always fascinated. I know my main Guide so well but have never met any others or even really felt them. The animal Guide is what is the most curious to me. I know I was told by an Indian Shaman that my totem was a turtle but I have a draw to lions since I was a small child. Whether they are guides or fav childhood stories I am not sure but would love to learn more,....any suggestions???

My guides name is Chen tsu . I always thought it was Chin tsu so the other day I googled the name and he was a famous early practitioner of Feng shui. Very cool to know that there is historical evidence that this person existed.

I don't ever like to use the word jealous or envious but when I hear people speak of animal guides I am always fascinated. I know my main Guide so well but have never met any others or even really felt them. The animal Guide is what is the most curious to me. I know I was told by an Indian Shaman that my totem was a turtle but I have a draw to lions since I was a small child. Whether they are guides or fav childhood stories I am not sure but would love to learn more,....any suggestions???

You have to accept that a totum is with you for life, you can't change it because you prefer another animal. Be happy with your turtle, he is the oldest surviving reptile on our planet and dates back 220 million years. How much more experience could you ask for? He can walk on land and swim the depths of the ocean. Gentle and serine. A beautiful totum.

I have got to put up with a smelly old brown bear, even though I love wolves, but I still love him to bits:hug2:

my guide is called Ken. I giggled when he first told me as people always expect grand names. He told me that it was important to me that he had a name (and a gender for that matter) but not for him. He also told me that the name was plain so I didn't him as grand. He wants me to see him as an equal.

I asked him whether he was an angel, my higher self or a spirit guide. Once again he wouldn't tell me. Saying if I labeled him I would limit him. He is what he is. He comes in different forms to me, as I need him. he is great comfort to me.

I also work with Jesus. He came to me unasked and came dressed in a white spangly jump suit, bright white teeth and big hair... looking very much like Barry Gibb. I laughted once I realised who he was and asked why.

Being pagan he knew I would have rejected him dressed as the bible pictures show him. He told me he is more than what the bible says but no more than any other ascended master. He knew if he came to me looking different I would accept him.

Guides come in forms that are acceptable to each of us... but I truly believe they themselves don't need those forms. It is all to help us work with them.

Im not sure what my guide's real name is, but afer a few weeks of asking to speak to him/her i had a dream where he was a gray hair guy in a blue suit and white shirt. He reminded me a bit of Bob monkhouse or des o'connor, so i called him Bob. I suspect that thats also not what he looks like since we were in a forest and for most of the dream i was a deer. It made me think of native americans, which is what i think he may be. I think he was just apearing to me in a relatable way, but if i talk to him as Bob he listens so its all good.

I am very late on this poste lol My main guides name is Xruad or Xarud I dont know the right way to spell it but its around there. I found out one day while I was laying on my bed and I closed my eyes relaxing. I started to talk to him and ask if I could know his name "So I can call you by somthing other then 'my guide'" So he gave me a vistion of some letters. It wasnt very good or clear but I got the messege. I also heard him try to help me know how to say it to but I didnt have any abilites devept yet at the time and it was very hard to hear him.

As for the others, I saw them threw dreams, visions or my guides would tell me and I would feel thier presants and energies. Sinsie is one of them that came to me bothe in a vision and also by feel. I saw him one night standing beside my bed with his arms crossed. I knew him sorta already and I didnt feel any thing bad. I had a dream where he was testing out my protection powers or what ever you want to call them. And thats why I call him sinsie, hes my teacher in protection.

Ariel my angel, came to me by visions and I think manifest. The 'manifest' was very short lived. I was just on my bed going to bed when I looked up to see this women with golden hair, white robe and a huge happy smile on her face coming strait for me to hug me as if we havent seen each other for a long time. And I remember when he would try to tell me he was the real deal. He would give me all sorts of little sighns like a vision he gave me was him in his lion forme laying next to me on my bed puring **** another was white angel wings. I also heard his name in my head one night and I said "But..thats a girls name...!" lol But I looked him up and fit every thing he showed me over the cores of three to four days.

My gatekeeper by feel. I dont know much about him just yet. But I do know his name is Jane..yet agian a guy with a girls name ****! But I like it, it had a ring to it.

So theres a few there. ^^

I have names for those I work with, but they are terms of endearment that I give to them,the human part of me needs someway of referencing, as time goes on, I use the names less and less. I have one guide that is with me always, and invariably acts as my introduction to others, and I have a German Shepherd as a totem, who was about a lot when I first started down this path, and now he is not with me as much as he once was.

They usually tell me their names - that's their vibe I percieve the easiest and that my mind "translates" into a name for memorizing it. Foress, Myr and Verel. There are more beings I have friendships with, but these are the most active now.

Maybe its because I am not a 'names' person around other's I do not have the names for the guides I have. What is odd too when a reader picks up on them they too just go by what they are.

I have a Buddist Master he simply is Buddha and a Black Witch she simply comes in as Witch. The other is a spirit that was me in a past life. He is William but he is simply Knight.

Names are a concept that man has created some of the best work I have done as a Medium is not giving a person a name but a deeply personal discription. In that they have the knowing that the name simply was not maybe plucked from their mind.

I don't think it is a bad thing knowing a guides name. For some people it helps. I know the names of my 3 guides although to be fair if I need help or guidance I am not bothered which one comes through and I just yell Sprit guides when I want to speak to them

Like many said, names of our guides are not important. There's an ancestral guide who watches over our family's spiritual development. He insisted on telling a medium friend that who or what his name is not important and worshipping him isn't required. But I still want to know. Another guide that started out as my children's "invisible" friend called himself Mr. Nobody but has upgraded his name after he became a full fledged family guide last year. I do not know the names of my other guides. I've been told that they do not require names but I may name them if I wish. I wish I could interact with them more but my guides are more of the hands off approach.

I knew the name of my guide before I knew I had one. I just referred to her as Goddess Anna. More names/aspects of her has arrived since yet this remains as the important one of them in the sense it is the part of her I treasure the most - it is our heart connection.

I know a lot of my guides names. One of them is my main guide. He showed him self to me when I was four. He comes in a form of a human male and wares different clothing mainly depending on if its only business or just seeing me. He gave me a vision just after I started to talk to him. He spelt out Xruad and even said it out loud. Others are Sinsie who I named because he was a teacher.

When I first started my development I used to the get the names of my guides quite prolifically but nowadays it doesn't matter. I get the odd reminder of who's with him from time to time by a flash of a face or an object. It's all about the knowing now. Knowing that they are there and recognising the energy.

I have 2 distinct guide Aeron (Angel) Mathew who likes to make me laugh but guides me when giving card readings, Tabitha was the name I gave her but she is the crone but doesn't mind Tabitha.

I don't think the name is important as such but sometimes I think they believe it helps the connection at least at the beginning.

When I first connected to my spirit guides they told me their names without me asking, at the time it was quite useful for me in working out who was with me because I hadn't learnt to distinguish energies or even tell if an energy was benevolent or malevolent because at the time I just never bothered trying really out of ignorance because it just never occured to me it was something I would need to learn. In time I did learn and can now distinguish energies. Although I really just refer them as spirit guides these days when one is around me I usually get a sense of which one as their name will suddenly just come in to my thoughts and because there is 3 of them I could never just choose which one to talk to so referring them all as spirit guides is just easier for me lol

I have one guide who I deal with most of the time--others speak through him--and I do have a name for him, as well as a mental image. He presents to me as an older male, but he comes through as gregarious, lighthearted and very funny.

There's another one, who comes across to me as female, who is quiet, calm, and very thoughtful. At times when I'm upset or grieving, she comes through. She's serious and reserved, but has a very soothing, consoling way about her. I don't have a name for her; I've asked, but she's never given one.

I know there are others, but I can't differentiate between them yet and don't know their names.

Then there's the Boss Lady (as I call her; I don't have a name), who I rarely encounter but when I do I'd better listen up because it's important. I get the impression of an older, no-nonsense woman who is used to being in charge. She's not motherly, but she's older and more advanced than the rest (she's almost like my guides' guide). Her communication style is kind and gentle, but very firm and to-the-point--she expects to be heard. If she shows up it's a Big Deal.

I was able to hear her in my head even as a child, despite not knowing about guides or who she was. She was present a lot when I was a kid, and I remember receiving crucial guidance from her back then--which I dismissed as "just my imagination" as I hit adolescence, and only fully understood as an adult. She's only communicated directly with me a couple of times in my adulthood, but I know she's still around.

I have two spirit guides, Maria and Isaac.
I first learned about Maria when a friend of mine did a tarot deck for me. After that I wanted to learn more of her. One night when I was going to sleep, I asked what is her name. Suddenly name Maria Campbell started ringing in my head. It continued even on the next morning!
About Isaac I learned from the same friend who told me about Maria. She said that his name is Isaac. He is the guide I know least of, which kinda bothers me. We don't communicate almost at all, I like to talk Maria the most.

For some reason, I have an extremely difficult time imagining names. Usually if I imagine someone telling me their name, I just hear it as a mumbled and indistinct voice. I guess that's not surprising, since I generally have a difficult time remembering people's names unless I hear them quite often. Unfortunately for anyone who might be hanging out in my mind, they're going to be 'hey, you!'

Hi Guys! My main Guide's name is Orbie? He's of Native American decent, however I can not find any link to this name, and Native Americans? He offers me help sometimes in rhymes, and is kind of Funny. I even have had Psychic readings where I was told Orbie was quite the "Card"
I have a Female guide named Gail? But I haven't had too much experience with her. She's quiet, soft spoken, and very rational.

i have a bunch. the main one is AAMichael and AAGabriel and AAUriel, Jesus too they are mostly angels and i have 2 men that are assending masters that i call them ying and yang. that is not really there names, I found out about AAMichael because i have a strong bond with him and just always knew that he was there and always felt Gabriel too. I know i am very good friends with both of them in heaven but i was proven right when my sister told me without me saying anything about Michael that he was around me all the time and very protective of me. I also was told without saying anything the same thing from strong long term psychic people. I dont know all of them I just know i have a bunch. I know of ying and yang because i had a dream of them freeing me from a demon prison and i looked back and they were on a near by hill smiling at me sitting on there tigers. and i had a very clear dream of Jesus flapping a psalm branch at me as i was just waking up from a very deep sleep. it was only for a second but was one of the clearest dreams i ever had. and after awhile you get to know there energy or colors and just know when they are near.

What I've been told is that some of us are geared towards needing a name and some of us are not. If it helps us to connect, the guide(s) will provide names as they are supportive of a connection, however best it suits the individual. It all makes sense to me!

My truth is that like a lot of us, through curiosity, I wanted to know the name of my Guide and any Helpers in my Spirit team. As I have evolved I now look back and realise i was trying to link a human label to those who are now beyond the need for a label as they are no longer incarnated in the restriction of human form.

My Guide has told me that In Spirit they know each other by their essence and not by name, but when it comes to their link with us they can honour our requirement to know their name if it means we feel a greater, trusted connection, so they can then focus on sharing their truth through us. Its true to say that other Guides who I have heard speak mostly say, know me by my wisdom and truth I speak, not by my name. Some Guides will actually ask you what you would like to call them.

I believe its much more rewarding to build that personal rappor with our guide rather than be given anything about them on a plate. If we are given everything on a plate we dont appreciate it as much, but that which we work for and towards we will always respect and honour much more. The input and discipline of hours of meditation over months and years will lead you in the right direction, but too many people wont offer the space and time in commitment to continue. Its a nurturing process, and very much likened to the suns energy opening a flower... very gradual.. and just like the suns light, our soul light is the life force required to open that flower of awareness to our Guide. I always say seek and find yourself first before looking for your guide, because its once you find and know yourself, that you can know others.

My main Guide and Trance control is a Native American called Red Cloud, who works through me in areas of philosophy of life and spirit. I have also got another Native who works with Red Cloud when it comes to areas of Healing, and his name is Golden Sun. The other main helper of mine is a Tibetan Monk called Chen-Wah who works in areas of healing, focus, enlightenment, and disciplines of the Spirit, he works hard at keeping me balanced and my pathway clear.

The above is based upon the interpretation of mine and others experiences i know in the unfoldment of mediumship.

Thank you Sojourner :) I am glad my answer resonates with you.

With my main Guide, it took me maybe 2 years before I have an incline of his name. At this time I kept asking and asking and I wouldnt leave it, I then through various syncronicities, kept being drawn to pictures and information linked to Chief Red Cloud.

At this time I kept dismissing, but then over the course of following months I had this name confirmed spontaneously through other Mediums. The Lesson here? always trust your own information lol. The other Helpers have naturally introduced themselves to me over time and come forward with their names without me asking.

With some I havent always been told their name, but I have an Egyptian priest who works with me to, when he comes in he just says "Egyptian" to me and I have learnt to accept that.

I think it is unique to each person as to what they receive and when, but all I can say is if you want to know, ask Spirit, then be open and trust the signs and synchronicities which come your way. They may be subtle, but Spirit will endevour to offer you this information.

I agree with Zak. You just have to meditate on them. It might be easier to first differentiate whether its male or female. That can narrow it down. when I have done this in the past, my right warm gets warm. only my right arm. It will get warm like there is someone standing right there behind me. Like a presence or energy that is definitely female.

As for the names, I have asked a psychic before and got, Tanakashi, an older female as my guide, as well as, having guiding light around me which I call Robbie :)

Meditate on your guide and pay attention to the images that may come up or sensations you may feel. Or even mental references.

i was reading a book on finding out the names of your guides. so i asked and i heard a whisper of two syllables. enda. the first syllable was too soft to hear. so i asked two more times and heard the same thing. so then i asked my guide to tell me their name at the end of the letterman show when a voice usually says nice pants or something like that. well that night i watched the show and the voice on the show said hello brenda. there it was...my guides name is brenda.
