Egyptian crystal/stone?

[Carnelian]

Does anyone know anything about a 'crystal/stone' called Egytian Porphrey (could also be spelt Perphrey). I found this beautiful tumblestone, the shop assistant couldnt tell me anything much about it except that it has similar properties to a Chrysanthemum stone. I have also searched the internet but found nothing.:dontknow:
I would love to know more and also its right name, if anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
