Actually such experiments like LHC, LIGO and gravity related theories like Relativity are least important. They are hyped. I think more than 40% Nobel Prizes have been wasted on gravity and optics related researches. It is high time Astro physicists and Nobel Laureates realize this fact and try to conduct Experiment and verify Astro Relativity Theory.
